Certificate of Appreciation given to GAS Instrumentation Division from
Saudi Aramco Yanbu Diesel Hydro Treating Complex Project.
A Certificate has been given to GAS Arabian Services in view of our Techno-commercial support to the “Yanbu Refinery’s – Diesel Hydrotreating Project Team” during their requirement of P+F converters.
Aramco’s PMT Mr. Maan Abdulla Al-Mulla have initiated the attached appreciation letter for our prompt response in offering technical support for appropriate model selections and helping with express delivery.
Though the P.O value was SAR 15,780, this “Certificate of Appreciation” from Saudi Aramco reflects our dedication and honest approach with local customers.

A certificate of Appreciation presented by an Instrumentation Division Principal, Yokogawa Engineering Asia (Singapore), to GAS Mechanical Division for the supply and successful commissioning and after-market support for Silicair Dryer in SASREF Instrumentation Project Phase 01.

After Eight (8) successful years of being the sole distributor and in-kingdom partner of Yokogawa and almost three (3) years of negotiations, GAS Arabian Services and Yokogawa finally signed the Joint Venture Agreement for the Yokogawa Services Saudi Arabia Ltd (Services Company) last May 17, 2006 in Gulf Hotel Bahrain.
Similarly, with the support of GAS Arabian Saudi Arabia (Yokogawa 100% Company) is also being set-up and is expected to be registered before the end of the year. view pictures |

In continuing effort of GAS Management to build good relation and obtain official support from Government offices, GAS Arabian Services has sponsored the modification and re-designing of existing billboard of Saudi Arabian Embassy in Bahrain at King Fahad Causeway. The billboard states “Saudi Arabian Embassy in Bahrain welcome you in the Kingdom of Bahrain”. GAS logo was printed on the billboard based on the approval from Saudi Embassy in Bahrain which adds value to GAS name in the market. |

GAS Arabian Services have participated in this forum as one of Saudi Aramco’s Field Service provider for all their facilities, different equipments and specially for Rotating equipments. We have coordinated with EEME (Elliott Ebara Middle East, WLL, and Bahrain) participated in this event and exibit some of the EEME/ Elliott’s capabilities for all type of after market support for Rotating equipments.
Their response was very good. Aramco appreciated GAS and issued a certificate of appreciation.

Burgmann Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2ndBoard Meeting
Munich, Germany
With Mr. Aref K. Al-Dabal in the front seat and the full support given by GAS Arabian Services, Burgmann Middle East and Burgmann Germany, BKSA’s Middle East Directors recently flew (Mr. Abdulrahman K. Al-Dabal, Mr. Faisal K. Al-Dabal and Mr. Johny Mackenzie) to Germany and had its 2nd Board Meeting in Munich last June 8-15, 2006.
Although GAS handles the trading, BKSA’s core business of servicing Burgmann’s clients are proving to be a huge potential and acquiring its good share in the market. Currently, Mr. Aref Dabal runs a Service Center in Dammam Port Road, its head office in GAS Headquarters in Dammam and a branch in Jeddah. |

New Cars Chevrolet
With the on-going expansion of GAS Arabian Services in all departments, the management has decided to increase the number of our transportation vehicles with the addition four (4) new mid size and (1) executive chevrolet.These additional cars were distributed to GAS employees to provide the required mobility of GAS Staff to continue adding value to the services that we are offering to both our clients and partners.(view pictures)

Last May 9, 2006, Dr. Stefano Schiavo of Comart SpA (Italy) visited Saudi Arabia to better understand the Saudi market and finalize the agreement with GAS Arabian Services.
Currently, Comart and GAS are working together in a proposal to Saudi Aramco Khurais Project.

In order to meet the growing needs of Instrumentation Division’s customers in Dammam area and on-going expansion of GAS, the Management decided to convert one of it’s show room to office for Instrumentation Division. The new expansion has an office space for (15) staff members and storage place on mezzanine floor.” |

Rathan is the only Engineer from a REP invited to attend this training which is specifically designed for direct YOKOGAWA Employees worldwide
Being the only Rep Engineer, Rathan received the highest score followed by a German Sales Engineer and Third place was secured by PMK Engineer from USA.
Because of this, We, Saudi Arabia became famous in this program and Mr. Marc Seeger, Marketing Manager- Flow is planning a trip to YME in September 2006 to visit Middle East Customers which shall include trip to KSA.

23rd Career Day at King Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran KFUPM
In line with GAS Management’s vision to support the local economy, GAS Arabian Services joined the recent 23rd Career Day at KFUPM (King Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals).
To maximize the benefit of meeting and screening a good number of potential engineers, GAS’ managers in addition to the key officers were present at the booth all week long which proves to be a powerful source for new top notch generation in KSA.
GAS Arabian Services aims to attract these young, fresh and talented graduates considered to be the fuel of the future because we believe that their future is our future.

FKD and MSK visited the manfacturing facilities of RATNAMANI-India(Ahmedabad-Gujarat) for signing the agency agreement on Saturday Nov 25, 2006. RATNAMANI manufactures stainless steel tubes, stainless steel pipes(welded &seamless), Carbon steel pipes, long seam welded and spiral welded etc.

The sad demise of Mr. Mohammed Abu Hassan
GAS Management and staff members are all feeling grieved on the sad demise of Mohammed Abu Hassan due to Cardiac Arrest during the holy month of Ramadan. He was a colleague, a friend and a family menber to all GAS staff. GAS Management and its entire staff appreciate and value the faithful service he has contributed during his life.
As all GAS staff are one family, GAS Management and staff members raised funds for “Charity Contribution” to offer to Abu Hassan’s Family during their difficult times.
